3D Virtual Reality Horror/Sci-fi Demo "DISTURBANCES"
Solo Final Year Project for NTU Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Animation. DISTURBANCES is an Interactive Virtual Reality Experience, focusing on Realtime Photorealistic Rendering of interiors. DISTURBANCES was built using Unreal Engine 4 and is optimally viewed with Oculus Development Kit 2 (DK2). With integration of Leap Motion hand tracking technology and Sony PS Move Navigation controller, the player could easily immerse his/herself into the simulation. The narrative of the simulation revolves around what seems to look like a haunted house at first but the story moves towards a science fiction direction in the later part of the simulation. Polytechnic Intern-ship work for A*STAR SIM TECH in NTU. 3D virtual simulation of a 2-wheeled robot in an environment. Robot was made entirely in Maya in parts. Assembled and simulated using UNREAL Tournament 2004 Scripting mod. Captured using Fraps. Project Fish Game Demo Reel
"Project Fish", a game demo done by my friends and me for our Polytechnic Final Year Project (FYP) at Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP), Diploma in Digital Entertainment Technology (DET). Our art direction leans towards cartoon cell-shaded graphics. I did most of the visual assets and characters for example, the main character, main character animations, the boat, shark, houses, trees, terrain map texture & shady guy in black.
